Sustainability

Economically, Environmentally and Ethically…

The Sesh Snake is manufactured in Oakville, Ontario using injection molding, a process chosen for its precision and efficiency in producing durable parts.   Everyone from the material supplier, the mold maker and our molder are Canadian, through and through.  Supporting Canadian products has never been more crucial!

The material used for the Sesh Snake is a blend of recycled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and ocean-recovered polypropylene (PP). This specific formulation was selected for its flexibility, strength, and environmental benefits.   The TPE is sourced from recycled car bumpers.  The PP is sourced from decommissioned marine ropes that have been extracted from the ocean.  This creates a 100% recycled part that does its part to pull plastic out of land and sea!

Furthermore, the recycled material is procured and used BEFORE reaching the landfill.  This ensures clean recycled material that doesn’t clog up the landfill before it reaches our production facility.

Our production partner holds themselves at the highest standard with regards to safety.  No machine nor material is used in the facility that could endanger the workers of the plant.  The facility focuses on using sustainable material that does not have hazardous byproducts during the manufacturing process.  Furthermore, new profitable equipment has been rejected for its lack of safety precautions.  This allows us the peace of mind that we are sourcing our products ethically, putting no life at risk of injury or illness.
